Landing page CMS

A landing page exists for one visitor action: leave a request, book a slot, call or download an offer. That is why a landing page CMS is judged on simple things: how quickly you can build the page, where the leads go and whether you can fix the text without a developer.

What is a landing page CMS?

Seo-Gen CMS is the Seo-Gen agency's cloud website management system, and a one-page site in it is built from the same blocks as a large website. Below we look at what a landing page needs from its engine, how to launch it, how this route differs from a website builder and what it costs.

A landing page CMS is a system where you build, publish and edit a landing page without touching any code. It stores texts, images, forms and settings, while the visitor sees a finished page assembled from separate blocks of a template.

A landing CMS solves fewer tasks than the engine of a catalog or a corporate portal, but each of those tasks directly affects the number of leads. If a form fails to send data or the page loads slowly on a phone, the advertising budget spent on that page is wasted.

What does a landing page need from its CMS?

The requirements for a one-page site are shorter than for an online store, but each of them is tested on the very first day of an ad campaign. A good landing page content management system covers seven tasks, and Seo-Gen CMS handles all of them:

  • quick launch from a template and building the page from blocks;
  • a first screen with visible buttons and pop-ups with a form;
  • leads stored in the system and sent by email and to Telegram;
  • analytics counters and SEO settings for every page;
  • fast loading and custom breakpoints for the mobile view;
  • text edits without a developer, with drafts and history;
  • building from a Figma mockup or from a description with AI.

Below we go through what each item gives a landing page and how it works. Three languages and several landing pages in one admin panel are covered in the FAQ.

Launch from a template and the block editor

A new page is easiest to start from a template in the gallery, where ready-made options are sorted by industry. The template sets the order of blocks and the overall look, so you do not invent the page from scratch and only replace the texts and images with your own.

Then the block editor takes over: blocks are dragged and swapped, unnecessary ones are removed and new ones are added from the set. The set of blocks available in the editor is configurable, so a marketer sees only the elements that suit this particular page and its design.

First screen, buttons and pop-ups with a form

The first screen has the strongest effect on conversion, so it needs a clear headline, a short offer and a visible button. The Seo-Gen CMS design system sets themes, colors and fonts, and hover and pressed states are configured for call-to-action buttons.

Any button on the page can open a pop-up with a form, whether it sits in the first screen, next to the prices or at the very bottom. The visitor clicks “Get a quote”, sees the form on top of the page and leaves contact details without scrolling to a separate request block.

Where do landing page leads go?

A lead from a landing page is valuable while it is fresh, so it matters where the manager sees it and how quickly they learn about it. In Seo-Gen CMS every form submission is saved in the system, and a notification about it is sent through several channels at once.

ChannelWhat happens to the lead
Systemthe lead is stored in the admin panel and can be opened at any time
Emaila notification arrives at the specified address, including a mailbox on the site's domain
Telegramthe notification is sent by the site's own Telegram bot
Exportform submissions are exported to CSV together with the rest of the site data

Notifications by email and in Telegram

An email about a new lead goes to the address you chose for notifications, including a mailbox on the site's own domain. This keeps work requests apart from the manager's personal mail, and any colleague with access to that mailbox can follow them.

At the same time the site's own Telegram bot sends the lead, so the manager sees it in the messenger even when away from the computer. Every site has its own bot, so leads from different landing pages arrive separately and do not get mixed up in one chat.

Leads in the admin panel and CSV export

Every lead is stored in the site's admin panel, so you can open it later even if the email got lost and the messenger notification was deleted by accident. Saved leads make it easy to see which requests came in after a new ad campaign started or the first screen changed.

Form submissions are exported to CSV together with the rest of the site data, and such a file opens in any spreadsheet or can go straight to the sales team. The export is part of the data that belongs to you, so your lead history stays with you even if you change contractors.

Analytics counters and SEO settings

Without analytics counters you cannot tell which ads bring leads, so the counters are connected using the system's own tools. Each page and each language gets its own Title, Description and H1, while the canonical address, sitemap, robots and Schema.org markup work in the CMS core without plugins. For a one-page site this matters even more, because an error in the meta tags of its only page affects the whole site.

Loading speed and mobile view

A visitor coming from an ad rarely waits for a heavy page to finish loading, especially on mobile internet. Seo-Gen CMS pages arrive from the server already rendered, and each image is cut into 12 variants, so a phone receives a picture of its own size.

Most landing pages are opened on a phone, so the mobile view is worth planning from the very start. The system lets you set custom breakpoints for the mobile and tablet views, meaning the screen width at which blocks rearrange is chosen for the page design.

Text edits without a developer

After launch a CMS landing page needs constant edits: prices, promotion dates, button wording and customer reviews all keep changing. In Seo-Gen CMS the owner or a marketer makes these edits in the page editor, and a separate developer is not needed for this work.

Changes can be saved as a draft, checked in preview and published once everything is verified. The page keeps a change history, so a failed version is easy to roll back to an earlier one, and the activity log shows who changed what on the site.

Stages of launching a landing page on Seo-Gen CMS

A one-page site can be launched in two ways, building it yourself or ordering the build from the Seo-Gen team, and the three steps below are the same for both. On your own, you take a template from the industry gallery and finish the page in the editor, and if you have no time for that, the team builds it from a template or a mockup.

A new site gets an initial setup wizard in the admin panel that shows step by step what to fill in before publishing. Build timing depends on the scope and materials and is fixed in the estimate, as is moving a landing page from another platform.

01

Template, Figma mockup or a brief for AI

First we choose the basis of the page: a template from the gallery or a build from a Figma mockup if the company has its own brand style and a ready design. A page built from a mockup is then edited in the same block editor as any page created from a template.

If there is no mockup, the AI inside the system writes and designs the page from a description: what you sell, to whom and what action you expect from the visitor. AI is available from the Business plan, its usage is counted within a monthly cap, and the figures and promises in the draft are worth checking yourself.

02

Blocks, forms and leads

Next the page is filled in: we arrange the blocks, replace the texts and images, and set up the first screen and the buttons. If the texts are already written in Word, the document is imported into the system, and the texts, images and tables from it become a page.

We attach pop-ups with a form to the right buttons, specify the email address for notifications and connect the site's Telegram bot so that leads arrive in your work Telegram. Before publishing we send a test request from every form on the page and check that it has reached the admin panel, the mailbox and Telegram.

03

Domain, counters and publishing

We connect the domain through a helper in the admin panel that shows the DNS records your registrar needs, and the system issues the HTTPS certificate for every domain by itself. If you need email on your domain, mailboxes are created in the same place, and customer emails go out from your own domain address.

Last, we add analytics counters, fill in the Title, Description and H1 for every language and verify domain ownership in search engines. After publishing you edit the texts yourself in the editor, while the Seo-Gen team does further development at an hourly rate or by estimate.

Narrow visibility and a small semantic core at the start. Semantics, landing page structure, metadata and internal linking, then gradual link building.

How much does a landing page CMS cost?

There is no separate fee for the landing page engine: the monthly subscription for the site pays for hosting and support, plus backups, monitoring of the page and system updates with security fixes. These are entry prices, and the final sum is made up of the site's size, the features you choose and how many landing pages you run.

PlanPriceSites in the plan
Startfrom UAH 990 per month1
Businessfrom UAH 1,900 per month1
Platformfrom UAH 4,500 per month5
Each site beyond five on PlatformUAH 700 per month+1

Paying for a landing page a year ahead cuts the subscription price by 20 %, while a team build and AI usage are not covered by this discount. You can build a landing page yourself from a template, while a build ordered from the team is paid once: on a Seo-Gen template from UAH 12,000, from a mockup from UAH 30,000, and further development at UAH 600 per hour.

How is Seo-Gen CMS different from a website builder and a self-hosted CMS?

A one-page site can be built in a website builder, installed on a self-hosted CMS such as WordPress or placed in the agency's cloud system. Each option has its own strengths, and the choice of a landing page management system depends on who will manage the page and how many landing pages you plan to run.

A website builder is convenient when one person makes the page and is ready to learn the service, while a self-hosted CMS gives full code access along with the duty of keeping updates and security in order. As a CMS for a one-page website, Seo-Gen CMS suits those who need a finished page with agency support and no worries about the server.

Answers to your questions

Is Seo-Gen CMS suitable for a one-page website?

Yes, Seo-Gen CMS works as a CMS for a one-page website: a landing page is built from the same blocks, forms and settings as a multi-page project. If you later need a thank-you page, a blog or service pages, they are added to the same site without moving anywhere.

For a landing page used in advertising this is convenient: you can launch the page first and then grow the site around it. The landing page address stays the same, so links from your ads keep leading to the same page.

Can a ready landing page be moved to Seo-Gen CMS?

Yes, the Seo-Gen team moves a landing page from a website builder or another CMS by hand, together with its texts, images, look, addresses and meta tags. The old address gets a 301 redirect, so links from ads and search results keep leading to the page.

A WordPress landing page on the DIVI theme is brought over by the system's built-in import, while pages on other themes are checked by the team by hand. The price of moving a finished site starts at UAH 25,000, and we write down in the estimate beforehand exactly what moves.

Can I build a landing page in several languages?

Yes, the page can exist in Russian, Ukrainian and English, and each language version is filled in on its own, with its own wording, headings and meta tags. The language versions are linked with hreflang markup, which makes it easier for a search engine to show visitors the page in their language.

A language can be added after launch as well, and the page structure stays the same. The Ukrainian version can be written for Ukrainian search queries, and proofreading the texts before publishing is worth doing in any case.

How many landing pages can I run from one admin panel?

Seo-Gen CMS works as a CMS for landing pages in different lines of business: each landing page runs as a separate site with its own domain, design, forms and leads. The Start and Business plans include one site in the subscription, while the Platform plan includes five sites at once.

Each site beyond five on the Platform plan costs UAH 700 per month, and all landing pages are managed from a single login. Staff access is granted per site, so a contractor on one landing page will not see the others.

What happens to my landing page if I leave Seo-Gen CMS?

The site data belongs to you: texts, structure and addresses, media files, meta tags, redirects and leads are exported in open formats. The archive is yours to download at any moment without charge, and once the contract is over the agency delivers one last full copy of the site.

The code of the platform itself stays with the agency, because Seo-Gen CMS runs as a cloud service on its servers. You do not need it to move anyway: the landing page content, addresses and leads stay with you and can go to another platform.

A landing page needs a system in which the page is built quickly, leads reach the manager and texts are edited without a developer. Seo-Gen CMS provides this together with the server, updates and agency support, and you can build the page yourself or have the team do it. The subscription costs from UAH 990 per month per site, and the Platform plan suits several landing pages.
