What does a corporate website need from a CMS?
Seo-Gen CMS is the Seo-Gen agency's own cloud content management system for business websites: it runs on our servers and companies use it on a subscription basis. Below we look at what a business gets, from staff roles and languages to domain email, login protection, CRM links and SEO.
A company website does several jobs at once: it presents the company, collects inquiries, publishes news and talks to visitors in three languages. Buyers of enterprise CMS platforms and enterprise web CMS tools expect roles, languages, an activity log and CRM links. We have put the typical requirements for a CMS for corporate websites into a table and noted how Seo-Gen CMS covers each one.
| Company task | What Seo-Gen CMS offers |
|---|---|
| Several employees run the site | Roles and access set for a specific site |
| Versions for different markets | Russian, Ukrainian and English, each with its own texts and values |
| Customer inquiries | Forms, inquiries stored in the system, alerts by email and Telegram |
| Business correspondence | Sending and receiving email from the company domain, domain mailboxes |
| Login security | Two-step login, passkeys, trusted devices, activity log |
| Links to CRM and accounting | API tokens and webhooks with signatures and retries |
| Several brands | Many sites from one login on the Platform plan |
What is included in Seo-Gen CMS for a corporate website?
All the features from the table live in one admin panel, so employees work with the site, email and inquiries in a single window after they log in. Hosting, scheduled backups, system updates and security updates are included in every plan, so the company does not need its own server administrator for the website.
We confirm the exact feature set for your plan when you connect, based on the site's tasks and the number of employees. Below are the five things companies ask about most often when they compare a CMS for business.
Employees, roles and access
In Seo-Gen CMS an employee's role is set for a specific site, so the news editor gets access to the right site and does not see the settings of the company's other projects. The marketer, the inquiries manager and the director log in to the same admin panel with their own accounts, and each of them works within the rights they were given.
When an employee leaves or moves to another department, the administrator changes their role or closes their access, and nobody has to change passwords for the whole site. Separate accounts also matter for the activity log, which shows who published a page or changed the settings of a form.
Admin panel login protection
The company publishes news, prices and statements in its own name through the admin panel, so logging in takes more than a single password. An employee confirms the login through Telegram or SMS, uses WebAuthn passkeys or signs in with a social account if that is more convenient.
Devices a person uses every day are marked as trusted, so the extra check does not slow them down at every login. When an employee leaves the company, the administrator closes their account, and they can no longer sign in from their former trusted devices.
Activity log and edit history
The activity log records who changed what on the site, so any disputed edit can be traced to a specific employee account. Pages are prepared as drafts and checked in preview before publishing, so visitors never see an unfinished text.
The change history keeps earlier versions of every page, and you can return to any of them right in the editor without a developer. When the whole site has to be brought back, scheduled backups and restoration step in, and both are included in every plan at no extra charge.
Three language versions with their own values
The system supports Russian, Ukrainian and English, and each version of a page has its own texts, headings, meta tags and field values. The values of each version are stored separately, so wording, contacts and terms can be adapted to the audience of a specific market without editing the other two languages.
A multilingual company website links its versions through hreflang, and site search takes the visitor's language into account and shows results in the right version. The header, footer, 404 page and breadcrumbs live in global zones, and a change made in one place updates every page of the site at once.
News, blog and private sections
Company news, expert articles and event announcements are published in the blog, which has categories, tags and separate author pages. An employee builds a post in the block editor, adds images from the media library and picks a category, after which the post appears in the feed for the right language.
For materials that are not meant for every visitor to the public part of the site, the system has private pages and sections. You can keep documents for partners, price lists for dealers or instructions for employees there, away from open access.
Forms, inquiries and notifications
Contact forms, quote requests and job applications are stored in the system itself, so an inquiry stays in the admin panel even if the notification email ends up in spam. The system reports every new inquiry by email and in Telegram, and each site can run its own Telegram bot.
A form can be attached to any button through a pop-up, so visitors leave their contacts at the exact point of the page where a question came up. People who subscribe on the site can receive newsletters, and the company sees how many were delivered, opened and clicked and who unsubscribed.
Email on the company domain
Emails to customers go out from the company's domain address, and incoming mail to that domain is received right in the system, where the responsible employees can see it. Staff mailboxes on the domain are managed next to the site's pages, and the mail log keeps a record of every message sent.
A domain setup helper in the admin panel lists the DNS records to add at the registrar, and once they are in place the HTTPS certificate appears on its own. For a corporate website this removes a whole group of small tasks that are usually scattered between the registrar, the hosting provider and the email service.
How does the launch of a corporate website on Seo-Gen CMS work?
The launch depends on where the company starts: from scratch, from an old site on another system or from a ready layout made by a designer. In all three cases the result is the same: a working site on Seo-Gen CMS with roles, domain, email and language versions set up.
One-off launch work is paid separately from the subscription, and we fix the final amount in an estimate before the work begins. Below are the two stages every corporate project goes through, regardless of the size of the site and the number of employees.
Choosing how to start
A new site can be built on a Seo-Gen template from the gallery of industry templates, and then the work costs from UAH 12,000. An existing company site keeps its look when it moves: a WordPress site comes over through the built-in import proven on the DIVI theme, while other themes and platforms are moved by our team by hand and checked page by page.
Building from a designer's layout, including from Figma, starts at UAH 30,000, and moving an existing site one to one starts at UAH 25,000. Pages, texts, images, menus, forms, page addresses and SEO data of the old site move over together with it.
Setting up access and launching the site
The setup wizard and the DNS hints guide you through connecting the domain, the HTTPS certificate is issued automatically, and then domain email is connected. The administrator creates employee accounts, assigns roles for the site, turns on two-step verification and chooses who receives inquiry notifications.
Texts can be uploaded as Word documents, and on the Business and Platform plans AI helps write and lay out a page from a description. Before launch we check meta tags, canonical addresses, hreflang and the sitemap, and after publishing we monitor the site and update the system.

Medical center · Ukraine

How much does a CMS for a corporate website cost?
The company pays monthly for each of its sites, and that amount already covers the server, backups, system and security updates, site monitoring and support. Paying for a year cuts the subscription price by 20 %, but one-off launch work and AI usage are not discounted.
| Plan | Price | Sites in plan | AI features |
|---|---|---|---|
| Start | from UAH 990 per month | 1 | no |
| Business | from UAH 1,900 per month | 1 | yes |
| Platform | from UAH 4,500 per month | 5 | yes |
| Each site above five on Platform | UAH 700 per month | +1 | yes |
These are entry prices, and the company's final bill depends on how large its sites are, which features it adds and how many sites it runs. You can pay by card, via PayPal or by invoice, and custom work requested by the company costs UAH 600 per hour of team time.

Answers to your questions
Which CMS is right for a corporate website?
A business CMS is usually judged by staff roles, languages, the blog, forms that store inquiries, login protection and change history. If one of these features needs a third-party module, that module has to be updated separately and checked after every system update.
Seo-Gen CMS covers these tasks in one admin panel, and the site runs on the agency's servers by subscription without buying a license. If you need a CMS platform for business with several brands, the Platform plan runs five sites from one login.
Can the site be connected to the company CRM?
Yes, for integration with a CRM and other systems Seo-Gen CMS provides API tokens and webhooks with signatures and retries. We set up the connection for the software the company already uses and agree in advance which data should leave the site.
Keys for third-party services are kept in a separate vault inside the system, so they do not need to be shared with employees in chats. Unusual data exchange rules are built for the company as custom work, estimated in advance at UAH 600 per hour.
Who supports the site after launch?
The site runs on the agency's servers, and within the subscription we update the system, make backups and monitor how the site works. You can reach us at any hour: write to support@seo-gen.com.ua, use the support Telegram bot or send a request straight from the site's admin panel.
If the site is completely down, we start fixing it immediately on any plan without waiting in a queue. Our own mistakes and anything that breaks after a system update are repaired at no cost, while extra work the company orders is estimated separately.
What happens to the site if we decide to leave Seo-Gen CMS?
Everything the company has put on the site belongs to it, and we hand over an export on the first request at no extra charge. The archive holds page and news texts in every language, structure and addresses, media library files, meta tags, redirects, form inquiries and a full copy of the database.
When the contract ends, the company receives a final export and can move the site together with its data. Neither an installable copy of the platform nor its source code is handed over, since the agency runs Seo-Gen CMS as a hosted service.
Can an existing corporate website be moved to Seo-Gen CMS?
Yes, moving an existing site one to one costs from UAH 25,000, and the total is fixed in an estimate before the work starts. A corporate site on WordPress moves through the built-in import together with its menus, forms, links and SEO data, and on themes other than DIVI the team checks every page.
From other platforms our team moves the site by hand, together with the structure, page addresses, meta tags and 301 redirects. Before work starts, the estimate spells out what will move and which differences are acceptable.
A corporate website needs a CMS business owners and their staff can share: several employees run three languages, news, inquiries and email, while the director sees who changed what. If you are choosing a business website CMS for these tasks, Seo-Gen CMS covers them in one admin panel, connects to your CRM through API and webhooks and runs several brands on the Platform plan, while the agency takes care of the server and updates.

Links to CRM and other company systems
A corporate website almost always works next to other software: a CRM, an accounting system, an email marketing service or an internal portal. For these links Seo-Gen CMS provides API tokens and webhooks, which are signed and resent if the receiving side did not answer the first time.
Keys for third-party services are kept in a separate vault inside the system, so nobody has to paste them into code or send them to colleagues in a messenger. The connection is set up for the software your company already uses, and we agree on the data to be passed at the start of the project.
Can you build a corporate portal on Seo-Gen CMS?
When a company plans a CMS enterprise portal, it may mean different things: a closed section for partners, a knowledge base for staff or customer accounts. A corporate portal has to do more than an ordinary website, because different people get access to different sections and data.
That is why portal scenarios are best sorted by what you need on day one. Of the features people usually expect from a corporate portal, the following already work in Seo-Gen CMS:
- private pages and sections for partners or employees;
- roles and access granted for a specific site;
- forms that store inquiries and notify the people responsible;
- a customer account with online booking for a medical center.
The customer account has so far been built for one industry, and accounts for dealers, clients or employees with their own logic are not part of the system. We design and build such parts as custom work under an estimate, after which they run on the same installation together with the company website.
Several sites and brands from one login
A group of companies rarely needs one website, because each brand, branch or business line has its own address, design, audience and team. In Seo-Gen CMS all these sites share one installation, which is what groups expect from a CMS for enterprise use, yet each keeps its own domains, languages, design, email, forms and data.
On the Platform plan five sites cost from UAH 4,500 per month, and each additional site adds UAH 700. Staff roles are set for each site separately, so a brand marketer sees their own project while the director gets a summary across the whole network of sites.
SEO for a corporate website in the system core
Search settings in Seo-Gen CMS are built into the core, so Title, Description and H1 are set for every page and every language without extra modules. The canonical address, a single URL format with a trailing slash, hreflang, the sitemap and robots work right after launch.
A company website benefits from the organization profile in Schema.org markup, which passes company data to search engines. 301 redirects, checks for duplicates and broken links, analytics counters and one-click domain verification in search engines cover the technical side without emails to a developer.
